JUDY MURRAY is among the Scots included in the Queen's Honours List.

The tennis coach has been recognised for her work to develop the game in Scotland and for encouraging more young people and women to get involved.

The award comes just after Sir Andy Murray was knighted in the New Year Honours List, while his brother Jamie was made an OBE last year.

Meanwhile, former Labour MSP Dr Richard Simpson is to receive an OBE for services to Scottish politics and public life.
