Volunteers gathered at Kings Park on Thursday 13 August to carry out some maintenance in an event organised by Stirling Council Countryside team, Friends of Kings Park and Employment Volunteering.
A team of 65 staff from Prudential also went along to help with work including scrub clearance and other gardening tasks, cleaning and painting.
Claire Bird, a member of Stirling Council’s Countryside Ranger team, said: “The day was a great success, the areas we worked on look great and the volunteers were fantastic - they certainly weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
“Everyone left feeling pleased with what they had done and hopefully park users will also notice a difference.” Volunteers worked hard in the Peace of Mind Garden, orchard and wildflower areas and cleared several overgrown footpaths.
The day finished with refreshments and home baking provided by Friends of Kings Park.
