The Fusion Group, the parent company behind three popular tourism businesses in Perthshire and Stirlingshire, is celebrating the news that all three of its leisure interests have achieved a certificate of excellence from well known online review site , trip advisor.

Receiving the accolade are the self catering business Logierait Lodges near Pitlochry, the Cosy Inn, bar and restaurant, The Red Brolly Inn at Ballinluig and the Old Churches House Hotel and Brasserie in the heart of Dunblane.

Fusion Group managing director Alex McKie said: “This is fantastic news and I must thank all my staff and managers who work hard to ensure our customer service targets are met and our many, many customers are looked after.

“The three businesses have served almost 50,000 customers over the last 12 months and we are really pleased that we are getting it right, most of the time, (everybody’s human!)” The Red Brolly Inn is just a year old whilst Old Churches House Hotel, Dunblane, with its newly opened Brasserie, will be celebrating its second birthday later on in July. Logierait Lodges is the most established business of the three and has always enjoyed a high year round occupancy whilst within the leisure divisions of our group of companies.

“Since we opened The Red Brolly Inn, just a short distance away from Logierait, the two businesses have enjoyed a close synergy together with many guests staying at Logierait Lodges choosing to dine at The Red Brolly at least once during their stay, it works really well,” added Mr McKie.

“These ratings demonstrate that we are well on our way to achieving our aim of establishing and maintaining high levels of customer care at all three businesses regardless of how long they have been trading. We try really hard to meet and exceed customer expectations, that is very important to us all as we really do care.

“Anything voted for by the public is always going to mean a lot to us. Well recognised awards like the certificates of excellence from Trip Advisor also help us attract new customers too so they are very important as we continue to develop and grow all three businesses” Malcolm Roughead, VisitScotland chief executive, said: “I’d like to congratulate the Fusion Group on this fantastic achievement! To have three of its businesses secure Excellence Awards is testament to the hard work of staff ensuring the visitor experience remains the top priority.

“Like the VisitScotland Quality Assurance Award, recognition from TripAdvisor demonstrates a commitment to quality and excellence and can play a key role in influencing a potential customer’s decision to visit a certain establishment. This can be vital if a business, and indeed the wider Scottish tourism industry, wishes to grow.”
