Friends of the Church of the Holy Rude are set to present ‘Music on a Summer Evening.’ The summer concerts will be in aid of the organ restoration appeal, and will each feature an organist with a guest instrumental soloist.

The first concert kicks off on Saturday 18 July and will feature Director of Music Ian C. Boulter on organ and Caroline Farren on trumpet.

Tickets are priced at £10 and £6 for concessions. Children can attend free of charge. All recitals in the ‘Music on a Summer Evening’ will start at 7.30pm and refreshments served afterwards are included in the ticket price.

The next concert is on Saturday 25 July with Ian C. Boulter on organ and Rebecca Luke on cello. Again on the 15 August Ian C. Boulter will play organ and Jeremy Atkinson will play violin.
