Get set for this year’s Swimathon challenge.

Pop on your cozzie and head to The Peak at Stirling Sports Village to take on the individual (5k, 2.5k, 1.5k) or team (5k, 1.5k) swims and raise funds for Marie Curie.

Marie Curie community fundraiser Jennifer Gale said: “We’re looking for swimmers who are up to the challenge to help make this the biggest and best Swimathon yet. In 2013, over 300 swimmers took part across Central Scotland and Tayside and together raised a brilliant £27,000 for Marie Curie – a really fantastic achievement that we hope to smash this year.” Marie Curie provides care and support to over 40,000 people living with terminal illnesses out in the community or in one of its nine hospices.

Funds raised by Swimathon 2015 for Marie Curie will help people and their families living with a terminal illness make the most of the time they have together by delivering expert care, emotional support, research and guidance.

Swimathon 2015 will take place across the weekend of 17-19 April. Entries are open until 15 April. Register at Swimathon.org or call 0845 36 700 36.
