The 25th Stirling (Dunblane) Boys’ Brigade marched alongside the 2284 Squadron Air Training Corps through the streets on Remembrance Sunday with all other uniformed youth organisations as well the Royal British Legion Scotland for the Remembrance Service.
The 30-strong band of the brigade led the parade through the town to the cathedral and provided music and accompaniment at the War Memorial where the annual wreath-laying ceremony was held. All together 100 Boys’ Brigade company section boys and officers were on parade.
During World War One the Boys’ Brigade itself suffered many losses when they formed a battalion and went to fight in the trenches.
