An investigation is under way after a teenage prisoner was found dead in Cornton Vale.
Dionne Kayleigh Kennedy died in the young offenders institute at the jail near Stirling on Sunday (2 November).
The 19-year-old had been in custody for a year.
A Scottish Prison Service spokesman stated that police had been informed and a Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course.
