Oxjam Stirling Takeover raised an impressive £2578.09.
Organiser Emma Erwin praised all those who made the charity event a smashing success.
She said: “This was thanks to a fantastic team, our genius production manager Paul Syme, dedicated fundraising and volunteer coordinator Ashleigh Spalding, loads of kind volunteers helping throughout the year, an amazing line-up, help from local businesses such as Good Vibrations and Europa Music, and all the venues who we couldn’t thank enough for being supportive all year.
“We had some amazing performances from bands such as Jack Butler, Science Made Us Robots, Rising Pacific, Something, Someone and Junebug, and singer-songwriters including Calum Gilligan, Jason Riddell, Will Bell and Alex Hynes.
“What we really wanted to achieve was to highlight how brilliant our music scene is, filling a gap in DIY gigs in the town centre and paving the way for Oxjam next year. “We feel we’ve achieved that more than we thought possible.”
