Independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £5000 for information leading to the location and arrest of fugitive Johnathan Kelly.

The 33-year-old, from Drumchapel in Glasgow, had his licence revoked after failing to comply with imposed conditions following his release from Low Moss Prison, Glasgow, in August this year.

Despite significant police inquiries, his whereabouts are still unknown.

Kelly is not thought to be a danger to the public but Police Scotland has described him as a ‘risk’ and has advised members of the public not to approach him.

Now Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £5000 for information leading to Kelly’s location and arrest in the hope that the fugitive will be apprehended.

Dave Hunter, regional manager for Crimestoppers, said: “Although Johnathan Kelly is not thought to be a danger to the public, he is considered to pose a risk and it is vital that he is found.

“There must be people out there who know his whereabouts and we urge them to contact us.

“Crimestoppers does not take any personal details from callers or those who give information through our website. We don’t want to know who you are, only what you know.” If you have any information, please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through the anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

The full reward will only be payable for information passed to Crimestoppers’ 0800 555 111 number. Information passed to police will not qualify.
