A Stirling curry house has been named as one of the country’s top 10 by TripAdvisor.
In celebration of National Curry Week (13-19 October), TripAdvisor spokesperson James Kay said: “The curry has long been one of the UK’s best loved dishes. What better way to celebrate Britain’s love affair with the curry than to treat yourself to a meal at one of the UK’s best rated curry houses restaurants.” While Alva Tandoori in Clackmannanshire topped the chart, Stirling’s Maharaja placed ninth.
As one TripAdvisor traveller commented: “Probably the best Indian I have been to. This was the real deal, full of flavour and excellent service too. We’ll be back!” TripAdvisor’s Top 10 Curry Houses: 1. Alva Tandoori, Alva, Clackmannanshire.
