Dance the night away for charity.

A ceilidh raising vital funds for Muscular Dystrophy Campaign will be held at Alloa Town Hall next week.

Music will be provided by Clackmannan fiddler Davy Sinclair and the Furry Boots Ceilidh Band.

Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is dedicated to beating muscle-wasting conditions by finding treatments and cures, and helps to improve the lives of those affected by them.

Dean Widd, fundraising manager for the charity, said: “Holding an event like this is a fantastic way to raise vital funds to support our work.

“As the UK’s leading research charity into Muscular Dystrophy, we’re leading the work to find a cure. We also support people who suffer from this terrible disease.

“Our work however is totally dependent on donations. I am sure the ceilidh will be a huge success.” Those interested in the work of Muscular Dystrophy Campaign can contact Dean on 01786 812288, 07801047974, email d.widd@muscular-dystrophy.org or like on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scotlands.mdc.
