A BOASTFUL Romeo who called his penis The King and sent unsolicited pictures of it to two women dodged jail yesterday.

Craig Brown, 33, bombarded one of the women – whom he used to date for three and a half years – with a series of messages and naked photos of himself.

One picture, sent in September 2012, was accompanied by the message: "Birthday Greetings from The King".

Prosecutor Lindsey Brooks told Stirling Sheriff Court the picture was only of the lower body of a naked male, but even so the recipient recognised it as Brown's.

Mrs Brooks said: "She recognised the male body in the image to be that of the accused, and she also states that she was aware that The King was a reference to the accused's genitals.

"She states this was a name he used to refer to his penis during their relationship."

Brown also turned his attention to his ex's sister, beginning: "Hey, you're so beautiful," before boasting of the size of The King.

He then made a series of sexual suggestions so "explicit and obscene" that during an earlier hearing a sheriff ordered members of the public to be cleared from the courtroom while they were narrated.

The two sisters, having discussed the nature of the messages both had received, contacted police on March 20 this year, with Brown detained on March 22.

Brown, of Motherwell, Lanarkshire, pleaded guilty last month at Stirling Sheriff Court to stalking and sending sexually explicit messages and photographs, and reappeared yesterday for sentencing.

The offences were committed between September 2012 and March this year.

Kevin McCarron, defending, asked the court to place Brown under social work supervision rather than jailing him, before adding: "That would not be a soft option."

Sheriff Wyllie Robertson placed Brown under supervision for 18 months under a community payback order, and ordered his name to be kept on the sex offenders' register for the same period.

He then told him: "Your behaviour was entirely unacceptable."
