Following The Stirling News' appeal last week, Alfie the missing cat has been found safe and well.
Alfie returned to his home in Bannockburn after a week away much to his owners' relief.
They said: "We would like to thank The Stirling News for their help in our search for our cat. We received many phone calls from the public which we greatly appreciated.
"We even now have a rough idea of his usual 'second homes' so will be able to find him if, touch wood, he wanders again."
