Over 150 primary school children from the Stirling area performed their dance routines at Active Stirling’s Just Dance 2015 event held at Macrobert Arts Centre.

Just Dance is part of the Community Dance Class programme organised by Active Stirling and is in its fifth year.

Children who attend afterschool community dance classes Bounce P1-P3 and Pulse P4-P7 have the opportunity to showcase their dance moves at the annual event.

Clubs that took part were Borestone lunch club, Stirling High School, St Modan’s High School, Bannockburn High School and Balfron High School. These classes are an excellent way for children to keep active, meet new friends, increase their confidence and enjoy learning new dance techniques.

Kim Bruce, Active Stirling dance instructor, said: “Each and every child has worked extremely hard and put on a fantastic show. I am very very proud of them. It’s brilliant working with all of our groups, teaching them new dance moves and dance routines - its great fun, their enthusiasm and dedication is fantastic. We would like to thank all the children that took part - a massive well done to everyone.” For more details on dance classes, contact Active Stirling on 0300 028 0101 or visit www.activestirling.org.uk/dance.
