The new service from The Braco Store will be operated by the subpostmaster from Dunblane Post Office, who will visit Braco at fixed times every week.

The new Braco Post Office will offer three sessions every week and the operating hours will be: 9.30am-12.30pm on Monday; 9.20-11.30am on Wednesday; 9.30-11.30pm on Friday.

Passport check and send, and full on demand holiday money services will be added to the wide range of Post Office services that will be available.

Post Office Ltd., welcomes feedback on any issues customers would like considered before a final decision is taken.

The final date for submissions is 27 August 2015. Submissions can be made by Freepost YOUR COMMENTS to Post Office Ltd, via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, via the customer helpline on 03457 22 33 44 or Textphone 03457 22 33 55.

Customers can also share their views online through the quick and easy questionnaire at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 639470.

Although the new service is due to open at 09.30 on Wednesday 29 July, this will not affect the period of public consultation.

Post Office field change advisor Douglas Heed said: “We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in Braco and we are confident that this new Outreach service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.

“This is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office and marks a commitment to no more branch closure programmes.”
