MORRISON’S Academy pipers welcomed everyone to Dunblane Cathedral to the witness an extraordinarily beautiful, enthralling and entertaining Christmas Choral Concert which saw the magnificent historic building festooned in a range of changing colours to accompany the wonderful music as part of the whole light and sound experience.

There were wonderful performances from P5, P6 and Transitional (P7) pupils in addition to the Senior Choirs (Girls’ Chamber Choir, Boys’ Camber Choir, Senior Girls’ Choir and Academy |Choir.) Once again, MOCHA (Morrison’s Choir for Adults) participated in this wonderful memorable event.

Special mention must be given to Rose Logan for her virtuoso fiddle playing in the premier performance of our newly commissioned piece, ‘The Strathearn Seasons,’ by the well-known and much acclaimed Scottish composer, Duncan Chilsolm.

This was a wonderfully evocative blend of solo violin, singing, poetry, instruments and lights, all performed within the beautiful setting of the wonderfully acoustic Dunblane Cathedral.
