Have yourself a merry little Christmas this year and join in the fun at Dunblane’s 2015 festive extravaganza.

Discover Dunblane is hosting four days of celebrations from Thursday 26 to Sunday, November 29.

Where else can you meet real life reindeer, post your letter to Santa in a custom designed gold post box or be the lucky winner of over £100 worth of vouchers and goodies as part of a Golden Ticket campaign.

Dunblane’s local independent retailers will be showcasing everything the town has to offer with extended opening hours from 3.30pm until 8pm on Thursday. There will be festivities galore for everyone to enjoy so why not come along and experience the magic.

Dunblane hero, 11-year-old Adam McGregor will open the event in style by taking a ride through the High Street with Santa and his reindeer. Together with the provost Mike Robbins they will cut the ribbon to open Santa’s Grotto and officially declare the weekend of festivities open.

There is a full programme of entertainment for all to enjoy kindly sponsored by Judy, Jamie and Andy Murray. There will be lots to see and experience including, bell ringers, carol singers, magicians and even acrobatic elves. For families with kids, they will be free face-painting and balloon modellers. There is also a great Nativity Trail co-ordinated by Dunblane Council of Churches where kids can pick up a sweet treat just for taking part.

Dunblane comes alive at Christmas and there is a fantastic choice of hot food and drinks available to help get everyone in the spirit. With a wide choice of independent retailers your Christmas stockings can be filled with unique gifts that will be sure to delight your friends and family. The Thursday evening will finish off with a breath-taking fireworks display over Dunblane Town Centre.
