A FAMILY firm from Bridge of Allan has created a special gift to help raise funds for a children’s charity.

Angels’ Share Glass is now selling bespoke Glitter Angels, promoting NSPCC Scotland’s Christmas Star appeal and supporting the good cause.

The design features a star filled with glitter and comes with an oak stave stand with a Highland tartan insert.

The firm’s managing director, Karen Somerville, came up with the design and said: “When the NSPCC approached us for help promoting their Christmas Star appeal we were delighted as we are always keen to collaborate with worthwhile causes and charities.

“It’s an ideal partnership as the NSPCC do so much good work for children in Scotland and we are very much a family business with a number of parents working for us.

“It’s a charity which is close to our hearts and we want to give back where we can.”

Angels’ Share Glass will donate half the cost of the £35 gifts and customers will receive a receipt of their donation.

Paul Cockram, head of fundraising at NSPCC Scotland, said: “Angels’ Share Glass is a family company who believe in supporting children to get the best possible start in life and we are proud to be working together to help achieve this.”
