RESIDENTS at a Stirling care home hosted a special guest for afternoon tea.

MP Stephen Kerr joined service users and staff at Annfield House to see first-hand the work being done at the HC-One home.

Residents and the politician spent the afternoon blethering away, sharing stories of life in Stirling.

He was also treated to an afternoon tea, created by the kitchen team.

Denise Fowler, manager at the home, said: “We are very grateful to Mr Kerr for taking the time to visit us here at Annfield House.

“The residents really enjoyed meeting him, and we could tell that he had great fun as well.

“We look forward to welcoming Mr Kerr back to Annfield House in the near future for another great afternoon.”

Elizabeth Roscoe, HC-One managing director, added: “I would like to extend HC-One’s thanks to Mr Kerr for joining residents and HC-One colleagues at Annfield House.

“We aim to be the care provider of choice for residents looking for the very best care and support in their local community, and we are delighted to be able to demonstrate this commitment to the local MP.”
