SLEET, hail and snow are expected to cause some disruption over the coming days in the Wee County and beyond.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice from this evening, Monday January 15, until Wednesday, January 17.
Roads could be affected by adverse conditions in the morning with delays, while the heavy, squally showers are expected to continue through Tuesday, coming down from the sky in the forms of sleet, hail and snow.
Gale force winds are expected over the hills and public transport cancellations are also possible.
There is a chance for power cuts and mobile phone coverage could also be affected.
More strong, easterly winds are expected Wednesday night into Thursday further south with more travel disruptions.
People should be careful on icy pavements and flying debris could also pose a danger to life.
A spell of more persistent and heavy snow could develop over Wednesday night.
