A 65-YEAR-OLD has been charged in connection with the sale of cigarettes to kids under the legal age.
The Advertiser understands a man had been caught selling the tobacco product to youngsters from the back of an ice cream van - in the area of Lornshill Academy.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police in Alloa have charged a 65-year-old man in connection with the sale of cigarettes to under-eighteen-year-olds in Tullibody following information received from members of the public.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
