THE University of Stirling is appealing to both current and former nurses in the NHS Forth Valley area to donate their old uniforms for exhibition.

The uniforms will feature as part of a series of events organised to celebrate the University’s 50th anniversary, the Nursing programme’s 21st intake of student nurses and the NHS’s 70th birthday.

Organisers are seeking tunics, dresses, hats, belts and badges, which will be added to the University archives and exhibited during the celebrations.

Anyone who owns a uniform, and is willing to donate it to the archive, is asked to contact the University archives at archives@stir.ac.uk . Donations will contribute to creating a complete record of nursing life in the Forth Valley area.
