MORE than 100 children took part in Active Stirling's annual Just Dance performance at the Macrobert Arts Centre on Wednesday, June 14.

Now in its sixth year, the performance brings together boys and girls aged between five-12 years, who attend weekly Active Stirling community dance classes.

The young dancers took to the stage to showcase their hard work over the last year, bringing fun, colourful costumes and upbeat chart hits.

Zoe Thomson, Active Stirling dance development officer, said: "The children have worked so hard all year and it shows in their performance tonight.

"The show was outstanding and the children who took part loved every minute on stage.

"A massive congratulations and well done to all the boys and girls."

Active Stirling's community dance classes run weekly in term time at various community venues across the Stirling area.

A new secondary class will start in August for 12-18 year olds at Bannockburn High School, Wednesdays 7-8pm.
