THE Stirling Military Show will return to King's Park this weekend, with another packed programme of events.

Saturday's festivities will kick off with a parade of serving military personnel and cadets from Port Street at 12.05pm.

Other attractions include a body combat class with Active Stirling and an infantry demonstration.

The Kennedy Cupcakes dance troupe will also feature, along with performances from the Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band.

First Bus has also given their backing to the event by providing free travel for veterans and servicemen and women to and from the event.

Services will operate on a circular route between Stirling Bus Station and King’s Park at 20 minute intervals from 1100 to 1758 on the day.

Serving members and veterans boarding the service will be honoured with free travel to and from the event if in uniform or on production of other identification.

Cut price fares of £1.50 single and £2.00 return will be available for other customers attending the event.

The Military Show is an annual event and a chance to honour those who work to keep the UK safe today.

Entry is free and the entertainment programme is packed with a parade, military displays, music, dancing and plenty of interactive fun to keep everybody happy.

The programme of events will finish at 5pm.
