DUNBLANE Boys' Brigade will hold a coffee morning next month.

It will take place on Saturday, March 4 from 10am until noon in Dunblane Cathedral Halls.

Entry is £2 (adults) and £1.50 (children), which includes tea/coffee, pancakes and scones; hot breakfast rolls will also be on sale (bacon, sausage, egg).

Donations of cake and candy for the stall will be gratefully received, as will any items for the bottle tombola although this should not include alcohol.

There will be other competitions and games, too; all proceeds will go towards Boys' Brigade funds.

All sections are on holiday this week while the schools are off, although there will be a band rehearsal as the musicians prepare for three important performances in March.

These are at Perform in Perth, Perth Concert Hall, Monday, March 13, 6.30pm, the Scottish Concert Bands Festival, same venue, Sunday, March 19, 9.30am, and the BB Scottish Bands Contest, Hutchesons' Grammar School, Glasgow, Saturday, March 25, 1pm.

Please note the first Wednesday and Friday meetings after the holidays, Wednesday, February 22 and Friday, February 24, will be food bank nights, when donations can be taken to Anchor Boys, Junior and Company Sections for Startup Stirling.
