THE Dunblane branch of the SNP will be holding its annual Burns Supper next weekend.
The event will take place at the Victoria Hall on Saturday, January 28, and will see a number of prominent figures in attendance.
The Toast to Scotland will be proposed by Depute First Minister John Swinney, while renowned writer and broadcaster Billy Kay will toast the Immortal Memory of Robert Burns.
Gregor Wood will bring his unique rendition of Holy Willie's Prayer – he will be joined by MP John Nicolson and MP Hannah Bardell, who will cross swords in a battle of words and wits in the Toast to the Lassies and the Reply.
A talented group of musicians has also been assembled by Gareth Perrie.
Tickets for the event are £22 and can be booked by contacting branch secretary Norman Sutherland via norman.sutherland@tesco.net or by calling 01786 824 661.
