DUNBLANE figure skater Megan Carroll brought a home silver medal at the British Figure Skating Championships 2016 recently.
The 13-year-old, who trains weekly with coach Gemma Stark at The PEAK in Stirling, won 2nd place at the event held at Ice Sheffield on Wednesday 30 November.
Megan achieved her personal best score of 39.68 and was the silver medallist in the Basic novice B category (age 13-15).
A few weeks ago, Megan also represented Great Britain and achieved her highest international position placing (5th) in The Golden Bear Cup in Zagreb, Croatia.
She was awarded £300 from the Birnie Trust which went towards the cost of this trip.
