THE annual Dunblane High School awards ceremony saw Iain Davies presented with the Summa Cum Laude award.
The annual award, which started in 2015, is sponsored by Dunblane Civic Society. It is for the student who has shown outstanding civic contribution and service to the local community and school together with a high level of academic achievement.
Tom Smith, Dunblane Civic Society and Stuart MacKay, headteacher presented Iain with the award on September 15. Iain who is also Dux will be leaving for Trinity College, Cambridge where he will study mathematics.
