TWO prisoners who have connections in the Central Scotland area have absconded from prison.

Police Scotland is appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of prisoners Kieran Kiely, 23, and Daniel Hussain, 24, who have absconded from HMP Castle Huntly.

Both were reported missing at 4.20pm on Wednesday, July 13.

Kiely has connections in the Stirling area as well as in Glasgow and Fife; Hussain has connections in the Glasgow and Perth area.

Kiely is 5ft 4in tall, of a stocky build with short dark hair.

Hussain is described as 5ft 10in tall, of a medium build and he too has short dark hair.

Members of the public are asked not to approach the men and should contact Police Scotland on 101.
