Teams representing Allan's, Borestone, Cambusbarron, Gargunnock and St Ninians primary schools had a fantastic morning of Tennis at Kings Park last week.

The teams successfully served, smashed and scored their way through the competition.

All of the children did extremely well and scores were very close, but in the end teams from Allan's Primary claimed success, taking first and second place.

Angela Hunter, Active Schools coordinator said : "I am extremely proud of all the children."

All P3 children have had the opportunity to have tennis tasters in their own school thanks to Stirling Lawn and Tennis Club.

The competition was supported by Ruth Henderson, Active Stirling club development officer and Adam Brown. Additional support was provided by pupils from Stirling High School.

The teams from Allan's have qualified to go through to the Stirling final.
