Forth Valley Disability Sport hosted the annual Track & Field Championships at Grangemouth Stadium on Wednesday, May 11.

Over 180 young people took part from across Forth Valley, including pupils from Raploch Primary School as well as Wallace, St Modan's and Dunblane high schools.

The event was organised by staff from Forth Valley Disability Sport and supported by team members from Active Stirling alongside staff across the Forth Valley area.

Ewen McNair, PE teacher at Ochil House (Wallace High School) said: “Today was a wonderful opportunity for sport and for all of the young people taking part. The sun shone as did the pupils from Ochil House. A brilliant day.”

The programme on the day consisted of a variety of track and field events, with events catered for both primary and secondary aged pupils.

Keryl Smith (age 17, Ochil House at Wallace Academy) added: “I won the 100m wheelchair race. My favourite part of the day is being able to race. It’s been great and I’ve had fun.”
