Clackmannanshire Bridge is currently closed in both directions as emergency services are searching for a man who was “seen to enter the water”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Advertiser: “Police Scotland and other emergency services are currently undertaking search activity to trace a man seen to enter the water from the Clackmannanshire Bridge in the early hours of today.
"Police and Coastguard helicopters are involved in the search along with colleagues from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
"The Clackmannanshire Bridge is currently closed to traffic in both directions while our inquiry into this matter continues."
It is understood the incident initially started at around 3am.
At this time, it is still not known when the bridge will reopen for traffic.
According to Traffic Scotland, vehicles are moving slowly on the Kincardine Bridge.
