Alloa Ludgate Church: Last Sunday at morning worship the congregation enjoyed an all age service of songs of praise. Filled with laughter and song the morning ended with a resounding rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’ accompanied by a piper. The congregation signed the Call to Rev. Carol Anne Parker who was elected last week as the new parish minister. The call papers will also lie in the church next Sunday and also on Wednesday 26 March in the church hall. The Church Board meet on Wednesday in the church and the Annual Stated Meeting of the church will be held after morning worship on 30 March. The Scripture lessons were Genesis Ch12, v1-4, and John Ch3 v1-17. In her sermon Rev. Shuttleworth told the congregation that the Holy Spirit is everywhere and touches everyone who needs a blessing. We do not know where the Holy Spirit comes from or where it is going. God sent Jesus to the world not to be its judge but to be its Saviour. The Crowning Event - Dunfermline Presbytery are organising an event to celebrate the story of Christian faith within the Presbytery. The event is being hosted in Dunfermline Abbey at 1pm to 4pm on Saturday 22 March. Congregations from across the presbytery area will be displaying and telling their story within the Abbey Church.

MENSTRIE Menstrie Parish Church: Lent Reflections continue at 10am each Sunday in room 1. All are welcome. Lent Bible Study entitled “Stop and Stare” continues on Wednesday at 7.30pm in room 1. All welcome. Rev. Lynne Mack led worship and the theme was Nicodemus’ encounter with Jesus. Nicodemus recognised that Jesus was from God and He came to him searching for the truth. Jesus told him he had to be born spiritually if he wanted to get into the Kingdom of God. Jesus came to repair a broken Humanity and Christians must live with love and compassion for humanity. Bible readings were from Psalm 121 and John 3:1-17. This Sunday after morning worship the stated annual meeting takes place. Please go along and support.

Menstrie Pensioners’ Association: The next meeting will be today (Wednesday) 19 March in Menstrie Parish Church Hall and will be a musical evening and raffle. The meeting on 23 April will take the form of a bingo evening and raffle.

SAUCHIE Sauchie Community Group: The next public meeting will be held on Thursday 27 March in Sauchie Resource Centre at 7pm. Guest speakers are council leader Gary Wormersly and Alison Kahn head of housing.

Sauchie & Fishcross UF Church: The Women’s Christian Fellowship meets on Wednesday at 7.30pm. On Thursday the Women’s Association meets at 2.15pm. This will be a Women2gether with Tom and Sheena Dawson. The Children’s Club meets on Friday from 6pm until 7.30pm. On Sunday the Kites Group and creche are as usual at 11am. Services at 11am and 6.30pm. Sauchie and Coalsnaughton Parish Church: Rev. Margaret Shuttleworth conducted the service on Sunday 16 March. The Scripture lessons were Genesis Ch12, v1-4, and John Ch3 v1-17. In her sermon Rev. Shuttleworth told the congregation that the Holy Spirit is everywhere and touches everyone who needs a blessing. We do not know where the Holy Spirit comes from or where it is going. God sent Jesus to the world not to be its judge but to be its Saviour. The Thursday Circle are having a coffee morning on Saturday 29 March from 10am to 11.30am. Tickets £1.50 are now on sale.

Tillicoultry Toddler Group: Holding a fundraising bingo tea in Tillicoultry Bowling Club on Wednesday 30 April, doors open 6.30pm. Entry £1.50.
