Dine James Bond style at the new Panorama Restaurant on the Rettenbach glacier in Sölden, in the Austrian Tirol
Home to 144km of pistes connected by 32 mountain lifts, Sölden rose to fame when it had a starring role in the 2015 James Bond film, Spectre. This year, the resort’s mountain railways organisation is in charge of building the new Panorama Restaurant on the magnificent Rettenbach glacier, at 2,675 metres.

Opening in October, the new cafeteria will feature a self-service section and a sit-down bistro, where guests will be waited-on and have access to a spacious terrace. There will also be a day bar with a comfy lounge and an ice bar with a mobile roof, so guests can catch the most of the sun’s rays.

After dining, skiers and snowboarders can cruise down the long runs, explore the vibrant village and take part in the lively après-ski scene.
