MAGNUM P.I.

ABC is reportedly working on a new Magnum P.I. series that will focus on his daughter.

According to Deadline, Lily ‘Tommy’ Magnum will head back to Hawaii and follow in her father’s footsteps at his firm in the show, called Magnum.

She will hit the beach and take on international crime while also trying to solve a mystery revolving around her former Navy Intelligence career.

The original Magnum P.I. - starring sexy man Tom Selleck - ran for eight seasons in the 1980s.

This potential reboot follows in the footsteps of other shows and movies that have recently been given the greenlight for revival on the small screen.

In NBC’s Taken, the series will follow the adventures of a young Brian Mills, pre-wife and daughter, and how he acquires his “particular set of skills”.

The studio’s Cruel Intentions will revolve around the 16-year-old son of Annette Hargrove (Reece Witherspoon in the film) and Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillippe in the movie).

The Departed will possibly be evolved into a TV show, similar to what Fargo has done, while Problem Child will bring a new batch of trouble via Old School and Hangover writer Scot Armstrong.

I’’m excited about the return of Twin Peaks, especially with Naomi Watts in the cast.

GAMING

Right, I need some game recommendations.

I've pretty much completed Fallout 4 (aside from Far Harbor).

I was a little disappointed with the ending of Nuka-World. In principal the DLC was a lot of fun, but I didn't like the fact you ended up raiding/taking over your own settlements that you worked so hard to establish with the Minutemen.

While I'm waiting on Mass Effect: Andromeda to drop, I've restarted Dragon Age: Inquisition. I'd like to play something else though.

Email (jmitchell@alloaadvertiser.co.uk), tweet (@Jenster13) or add me on PlayStation network (Jenster13) to give me your suggestions.

I have a soft spot for RPGs, however will play pretty much anything.

I've got my eye on the PSVR, but I'm going to wait until after the New Year to splash my cash on that.

- The cast of Will & Grace reunited to throw support behind Hillary Clinton hours ahead of the first presidential debate. On Monday, Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes appeared together in character for the first time in a decade. In the extended scene, lifelong BFFs Will and Grace task themselves with convincing Karen and Jack not to vote for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The duo chide Karen for supporting Trump despite the fact that one of her employees, her beloved maid Rosario, is an immigrant, one of the groups Trump has been targeting in his campaign. Will and Grace then set their sights on making Jack support Democratic presidential candidate Clinton once they find out he's registered in the swing state of Pennsylvania. The funny foursome also touched on recent pop culture topics like 50 Shades of Grey and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's split.
